d16z6 timing retard, please help

Default d16z6 timing retard, please help

Well to start thank you for looking, i have a d16z6 runnning about 7 psi plan on running about 8 or 9 psi just want to know how much to retard my ignition timing? i can run it on 95 or 97 octane! motor is stock using a t25 and my intercooler is quite big not sure of dimensions, weather is generally cool apart from summer days! cant think of any other details needed. Have been searching but i have not found the answers im looking for, thanks again for looking

450 dsm's and the vafc hack got it set @ -40 upto 5k then -35 til redline temporary measure til i can afford hondata probably running bit to rich but wanted it on the safe side. Thanks for replying

i would back the dizzy down like 3 degrees. Why not just get uberdata now instead of hondata. Its free and if you sell that afc you will have money to buy a chip burner.

would'nt know how to tune etc and im in the uk and as far as i know there's not many if any people i know of who could tune it! just out of interest how much isa chip burner?

you can get a chip burner for $50. go to http://www.ecimulti.org/uberdata/forum for info on how to tune it...its not really that hard at all.

Uh, with the hack my car pinged on 12. I'm running 9 degrees BTDC (7 degrees retarded from stock).

been searching on uberdata info and **** me there is a whole load of reading, general opinion is good this is something definately gonna look into!
