Default d16z6 nitrous motor

Hi
a friend of mine was talking about building a fun cheap car to race.
he's asked me to give him a hand with it but ive never messed with gas at all ,he has a eg with a d16z6 motor (bone stock) the plan was a wet 100 to 150 shot with a bisi d16z6 level 3 nitrous cam ,supertech valve springs and retanors and may be port out the exhaust ports abit,255 fuel pump with some sort of header on 23 m@hs
like i said its just to race for fun so will be tuned on gas and will never been run off gas.

would this be a good base to start with.
or what would you do diffrent.

if you spray more than your engine can swallow you will experience nitrous back fire!150 is to much for a single shot,100 on a dual stage will be much better

would a progressive nitrous controller be just as good, more like boost by gear?
also would the bisi cam be overkill for this setup ?

the progressive controler is a good idea for 100 shot but start with 50/75 to tune it gradualy ,i dont know the bisi cam but a port job will be good upgrade if you want the cam to be usefull
