Default d16z6 compatible head swap

hi, I have a d16z6. can anyone confirm if the y8 head is stronger/better for boosted applications? if it does, is it worth it to swap it? can someone suggest a d series single cam setup ideal for 275 - 350 hp. from top to bottom end. any help would be appreciated. I need to get a plan together before i start my project. I plan on getting arias pistons, eagle rods, and sending a block to golden eagle for resleeving.

The y8 yeilds slightly higher compression, the intake manifold is better, and the distributor is different. I think you can get the distributor to work, but it might require some grinding or something. Not sure about the ports, but somebody here said neither has very good intake ports.

It might be a wiser choice to just grab the y8 manifold and stick with your z6 head. Maybe port it a bit yourself. You can always mill the head or use a thinner headgasket if you're after slightly more compression.
