What are the best rods to buy for a soon to be turbocharged crx,plus what should i do to my ECU.I've seen mugen chips that adjust fuel and raise the rev limiter to 9000 rpms.And what size injecters.

the PG6b(d16a1) rods works better than the D16a6(PM6)..the A1 rods are fatter and will hold fine.

Thats what my buddy is using on his turboed d16Y7 and he runs 16PSI daily..12 sec car and so far they have hold(for over a year)

BUt...if you need D16a6 rods i have a set i can sell to you.

 

my bad man i have a D16a6 and was told that if i turbo the car and put in under to much boost that the rods on the D- series motor will break and to go ahead and put better ones in since i have to pull the motor out anyway

 

save yurself the trouble and get eagles, my friend just bought a set for like 299.00 off ebay, so there are deals out there on them....D series rods are toothpicks and I wouldnt trust em...I threw my a6 rods out when i switched to eagle, they arent worth nuthin..

 

curious if you stock rod people think that some y7's would hold 10lbs on a 60trim t3/t4
