Default D16a1 Blacktop boosted?

so i have an 88 integra ls, recently the head gasket went up so i replaced the head gasket (OEM), Valve seals(supertech), Head Bolts (OEM), Water pump(OEM), Timing Belt & Tensioner(OEM), and all gaskets from the head up.

ive been looking into turbos alot, im in the process of building an lsv with forged internals, but before the swap i want to slap an ebay turbo kit on there cuz the motor im building wont be done for a little bit.

i already have a tial 38mm wastegate
greddy type rz bov
aem wide band & boost gauge.

going to get the rest of what i need off ebay, like fmic, manifold, turbo, some dsm injectors, and oil line(name brand). also going to get hondata s300 from a friend soon.

what i want to know is there anything else i should get?
and how much hp can my stock motor w/ stock internals handle safely?

i know a ls can handle 300+ stock but what abuot a d16a1 blacktop
cr is 9.6:1 ( incase you dont know the difference between the black &brown top)

thanks in advance, looking forward to my first turbo build

I would recommend getting a turbo from a more reliable source. What is your power goals? That is the main thing. Having the money for a reputable tune at the end of the build is also very important.

If you are going turbo with your LSV, why not buy a quality setup and run that on the d16? Sure, it'd be laggy (depending on the turbo and setup), but your higher compression ratio with the d will help... then you just have to change injectors/manifold..
