Default D16 Turbo for everyday driver ?

Im currently building a d16y8 motor. Im looking at rebuilding it and throwing a turbo on. A few questions:

What should I do to the engine to get it ready for the turbo? what type of head?

What turbo should I go with? Ill be using the car as a everyday driver.

Thanks for the help guys!

Just leave the motor stock. If the compression is good then just boost it and be happy with it.

As far as turbo choice goes, there are just too many to choose from, it really depends on your goals. I have a T3 .42/.48 on my d16z6 daily driver and it's got a great powerband for daily driving. I'm making approx 200whp on a stock block.

Plenty of fun for the street!
