nobody can answer that. i mean you could throw 12psi at it and not even tune it and it will drive. how long it stays together is up to you. your budget, knowledge, etc.... either way, if you have to ask such a broad question you arent no were near ready for a boosted ride. it takes more than parts to make a boosted car last. in the mean time check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com its a site mainly populated with honda owners.

A d15 is not going to handle 12 pounds without reworking the internals. Depending on your miliage I would aim more at 8 pounds.

psi means nothing, 12 psi on a T3 is not the same as 12 psi on a T4. The question is how much hp are you looking for? D15's bend rods when you go much past 200 hp. You need to do a lot of research before you go near a turbo kit.

you're going to put rods and pistons in your D15? considering the only rods for 1.5's are real expensive I think you dont know what you're talking about.

Yes, pistons are easy, but I'm telling you buying rods for a D15 is not worth it. IMO building a D in the first place isn't really worth it, just boost the stock motor and do it right, you'll love it.

Z6 for boost FTW. D15 will take some extra money just to make it handle 10 psi (average turbo) reliably.

not true, boost your D15, mine ran for 6 months at 10 psi with no problems and I pulled it long before it blew up. Boost your D15 and do it right.

you must suck at life if you ran a 14.8 on 10psi.

i would like to know where everyone comes off thinking an LS swap is soooo cheap. i mean, hmotors wants $2200+shipping. and thats the cheapest i have found. i have been looking for months for a wrecked teg to use for swap and cant even find one of those near me. junkyard, forget that, $900 for an LS longblock. JDM B18b longblock $800, tranny $400, harness $75-100, axles $150, linkage $125, ecu $100. it adds up.
