Default d15 or d16?

Ok heres my question. I want to semi-build my d15. But my friend here informed me that they dont make aftermarket rods for the d15 motor. So what is the difference between the two motors? Is there anything i can do to get the d15 to work with d16 rods?

no lectures needed on 50 million reasons why to swap to a different motor, thanks

D15 and D16 rod's and crank are not the same. Crower makes rod's for the d15.

what d15 do you have??

if it's a jdm d15b vtec, then it uses the exact same rod as the d16z6
so you're fine there.

however you need a specific bearing..
I dont' remember which off hand though.

The rods for a D15 non-vtec are ridiculously expensive.
