is there a big difference in the gear ratios between the two? i already spin bad in 3rd gear i don't want to make it have less traction on the street.

not worried about it breaking. i just dont want to have real close gear ratios, and have less traction on the street.

even with it being close ratio it is still not bad. It is just alot closer than the other d series trannies. Just use it and youll be fine.

the ex trans has about the same ratios as a B series Ls transmission which is by far the longest gears

stick with the ex transmission or else you will just be slowing yourself down

if your having problems with traction get boost by gear and better tires
