i got the blitz ss bov and i hated the sound, I wanted that greddy "whistle". so i thought to myself what could i do to get a whistling sound? well, then it hit me. I went to a sporting goods store and bought a plastic whistle and attached it to my bov. its sounds freakin sweet as hell, kinda ghetto but sounds good. I was actually complemented on the bov several times last night.

 

by the way, you can now hear it blow off from an idle rev.

why is that, i have function and sound, i raced a z06 n the way home today and he kept sayin damn that car sounds mean, i like it. and i like it too. it sound like a greddy only louder so its not retarted sounding, whats the big deal

I think it's funny that the whole 'ricer' flaming thing is coming back on here...I'd say the VAST majority of people here have some rice on their car or atleast have done things for purely aesthetic reasons.

I'm not too sure about the bondo, though. lol

i'm not hating..well, maybe a little..i just never had to add a whistle to my car to be happy..maybe it's that easy..

neon green, no it was black but i bondoed and sanded and painted so its all colormatched gunmetal

 

haha did this a while back and this actually works well improving the way the blitz bov sounds. Sounds corny but until you try it yourself don't clown

u should get a pressure activated switch so when your BOV goes off your horns play the spanish flea.
