Default Cryofusion

Has any body heard of cryofusion. Co2 forced in the air intake system to gain horsepower. Does it work or can it really mess up your car?

it won't mess up your car because it is not going into the engine...my friend has this setup on his supercharged monte carlo although he has never really used it, the car has been out of commission for a long time so we dont know if it actually does anything. He has the kit that goes into the air intake, intercooler sprayer and fuel lines

co2 will cause you to lose power, not gain power.

that's what i was thinking....wouldn't the CO2 displace oxygen in the cylinders?

The temperature decrease when the gas expands in the lines makes a mini radiator like insert in the intake chamber act as a chiller. The CO2 is then vented to amosphere after it has collected heat from the intake charge.

So it should have read: <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by jclarke86 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Has any body heard of cryofusion. Co2 forced ON the air intake system to gain horsepower. Does it work or can it really mess up your car?</TD></TR></TABLE>

Sorta like using nitrous to chill an intercooler.

do some research before speaking

http://www.toyotaimportsforum....id=27

"The CryO2 Air Intake consists of an aerodynamically designed bulb with a cryogenic chamber which is mounted in a 4" segment of air tube. The air passes over the bulb, heat is removed from the air charge resulting in a colder, denser, more powerful charge."
