Default Crome: Errors with BoostTools

I am trying to setup Crome on a friends computer. It loads ok and works (as well as the Moates Burn1) except when I try to open boosttools it errors out. The computer was running windows 98 and I even loaded scripting support and got the same problem.

Installed Win2k and it still doesn't work! WTF The plugin works fine on my computer running the same win2k Pro. I just don't get it.

I tried Crome 1.6b and a 1.8beta and got the same problem. Any ideas? Figured I woudl check here first before posting in PGMFI.

Boost tools errors out on mine, it opens some gay html popup slaved from IE. I just close them, and everything works out peachy anyway.

Get Crome 1.1.8r or at least get the new Advanced Boost tools. I've never had a problem on Win 9x, 2KPro, or XP.

Well I found that Crome may need windows script control as well as Windows Script 5.6 in order to work.

Will try it at home.

I love it when people end up answering their own questions

Maybe....we shall see. At least this way if someone searches for the answer they might find it. I searched google, honda-tech, pgmfi.org, uberdata forums and found 0.

but yes...I hope I answered my own question
