cp pistons

Default cp pistons

are cp pistons a good quality piston or should i go with je srp. i can get the cps for a good deal with rings my goal is 450+ whp any help .

CP is one of the best(if not the best) piston companies out there.. Cant go wrong with them..

CP and SRP are in a different ballpark. I went with CPs myself, but my build is not complete yet, but once it is, I'll be sure to post my impressions.

Well strength is different.. But they are simular in the fact that they dont have a "high" expansion rate as opposed to others..

I'm a little off topic but.How are the wisco forged pistons?Thier the shet for my kx125.But have never heard anything about them for my car.

Wisecos are, according to popular belief, also very good.

You are correct.Calvert is their last name.Barry,"Snake" and a third brother who's name escapes me right now.JE (and SRP) and Wiseco are owned by the same parent company,as well as Pankle rods and Carrillo.

thanks for the reply i just picked them up for 300.00 new with rings 84mm bore and 9.5.1 compression thanks agian for the info
