doesn't look like much of an intercooler... inlets like 1 inch.

looks more like an oil cooler to me.

Definatly not an oil cooler it's a air to air intercooler with 1.5 inch inlet and 1.5 inch outlet. She's a small little bitch though lol

the turbo blades look to be touching the housing. if thats the case then you will be heading for disaster with that turbo.

Yup firefly hahaha
the turbo is close but dosnt touch I think it might when I really push on the side of it on the exhaust dp side but not on the turbo side. I figured once it's got oil in it and it's running that their isnt enough shaft play to worry about but maybe I'm wrong
Whats the worst thing that can happen if the turbine touches the housing? will metal peices be thrown into my throttle body and cause lots of engine damage?

yay hahaha I knew that thing would come in handy
I think I'll just throw this **** on and hope for the best lol
The worse part so far is when I spin the turbine from both sides trying to forcefully move it back and forth I hear a *ding* sound every once in a while from the turbine touching......that cant be good.

yea you dont want to use that turbo if it touches the housing. that will be spinning so fast if it hits when its runing it will shatter the wheel and will go in your motor.

a lot of people dont even run an intercooler at 6psi...so something is better than nothing.

It only touches the housing if I force it very hard too. Once the turbo is lubricated with oil wouldn't it be fine though? Like the only way it will touch is if I put force on both sides of the turbine pushing the same direction and spin it.

Im thinking I'm gonna have to ditch this turbo and get another one. Does it matter how much force it takes to check for shaft play? I have to put quite a bit of force to show that shaft play in the turbine in the pics. When its oiled will that make a difference?
