Cooling fan...problems
Here is the story - I was pulling into my parking spot and I hear a weird whining noise coming from the engine bay. So I turn my car off and pop the hood. I see that my vac line to the bov is disconnected, I figure that is the problem. I reconnect it and turn the car back on...no noise for a few seconds, then it starts again. I then notice that my radiator fan is not running. I am not sure if it is always supposed to run or not, I dont know. It just seems that since the engine was fairly warm it should be spinning..... does anyone have any ideas?
If I need to change the fan switch, or whatever it is that turns it on, how do I do it, and what does it look like??

Ok. Well that is some what of a relief. It just seems like it used to run all the time. Does anyone know what the whining might be?
I turned the engine back on, but the noise was gone. The engine was warm from just driving around, and the fan was not spinning, so I didnt want it to overheat while I waited for the noise....so I couldnt really tell you.
