okay i recently got a td05/14b turbo and it is water cooled/oil cooled, i want to know the easiest route in connecting the water cooled lines, some people say that the easiest is to take the coolant line from the throttle body and splice it into it, is this true PLEASE include pics it would be greatly appreciated

I dont have pics for you, but yes the simplist place to run coolant lines from would be the throttle body

 

it's very simple. the hose that goes into the tb - run that to the turbo. then from the turbo run a hose to the tb.

 

and others say- "Don't waste your time"

less is more when it comes to **** hanging off your motor IMO

 

so don't even connect it?? i also heard it was more for the people who beat ion there cars and do not change their oil on a regular basis is this true????

 

I'd hook it up - it's only a 5 minute job .
