Default coolant from blow off????????

hi guys,

just wondering if its possible to get coolant coming from the blow off valve(tial).

noticed coolant leak over gearbox and when i was looking for the source of the leak appeared to be from around the ports on the tial blow off valve. what could be causing this? is this possible?

do you have a water cooled turbo? If so, perhaps the water is leaking into the turbo? ive never herd of this happening but you never know...

You sure the overflow is not getting to full (blown headgasket/headlifting). I blew a headgasket while autocrossing once. Opened the hood to cool the motor down and there was coolant all over from where it pushed out of the overflow.

Not really possible. The coolant and oil is completely separated in a water cooled CHRA.

I can't think of any way that coolant could be coming out of your BOV. My bet would be that it's coming from somewhere else and just appearing to come from your BOV.

dont have a water cooled turbo no, dont think its the head gasket as i have a metal gasket and arp bolts also, cant see any other signs of head gasket problems either.
