Hi guys,just wanted to check if there is something wrong with my set up / tuning.
I have this set up and just come back from the dyno

550hp @28psi with Q16

Is it normal that power or should I have more ?

you should be around 650 or so.....do you have the graph?

 

What are you confused about? sounds like some nice numbers.. Maybe your tuner is using a conservate timing curve.

 

I'm confused because when I search here on HT I always find more nice numbers for the set up I have

It is set to 11.8 A/R and 17 degrees @ WOT

Do you like the car? Do you enjoy its power characteristics? If so, don't worry about the number so much. Different dynos and tunes have different numbers. Period. You've invested in the right parts, and made the car perform well, you young guys gotta get off this power number trip to try and brag to everyone.. Enjoy the car, and win.. Simple.

my buddy just made 734whp with the same turbo pretty much the same setup and 34 psi

 

I'm going again on the dyno next week to put up some more boost maybe 33-35 ( if the injector are ok ) and try to play with my cam sprockets as I bought a set and i'm going to install them this week and will see
