Default compression ratio for turbo'd engine

what would the ideal compression ratio for a B18C1 with a turbo?

ideal can be 9.2:1 or so. 9:1 is also fine. It just depends on what you are gonna do. For street use the 9:1 works best.

most of the harcore turbos guys i know will say that 9:1+ is way too high for a high boost application. Although these compression rations are common with FI honda engines, you may want to increase your tolerance for low octane gas and fluctuating intake temps by going a little lower. I went 8.5:1, some go as low as 7.5:1.
