I did a compression test on my B16 today and based on what i have read, my numbers seem pretty good. when i did it I took the highest possible number from the gauge that the needle reached while it was bouncing.
all 4 cylinders read 190-195psi
just wanna make sure everything is ok so I can put the turbo on.

how do I go about doing a leakdown test???

 

everything looks good. I think you need a mechanic to do a leakdown test for you. Has something to do with filling your cylinders with air. Im not sure. What kind of turbo?

 

Drag 3 system. I read a post that somebody put up earlier about there motor blowing. that does not sound so encouraging on my account. REALL REALLY hope this doesn't happen to me.

 

if u have an air compressor and a leakdown tester u can do a leakdown test

 

You wont blow your motor if you arent pedel happy. Make sure that you set up your fuel system correctly, run high octane fuel, or have your car tuned and you will be fine. Many people have run this kit very successfully, just because a few ppl blow up, dont let that discourage you.
