Colder Spark Plugs????

Default Colder Spark Plugs????

Someone told me to get colder spark plugs, .052 gap wont do on my motor cause im turbo. i dont get the gapping whole thing. can someone give me info?? what kind of spark plugs to get for my turbo b16?? i think that might be a reason to why my motor been dying out of no where on me, when im in neutral too.

u need a colder plug, gap them @ .28

get a plug gaper, youl have to bend the electrode down on the plug to get .28

gapped .025-.030 depending on ign system. mine are .018 - .02. but 34 psi he hee and im running range 9 plugs he hee.

bkr7e is the standard plug for the bseries when turbocharged. you can get a gapping tool right at the auto parts store. you are just setting the distance between the electrodes.

if the gap is too large the spark will blow out under boost before it has a chance to ignite the mixture. the gapping distance is different for every setup. .028 should do the trick for a stock b16 with moderate boost.

ooo i seee, thats probally why my car feels like theres no gas igniting when i press the gas harder and my car just dies out.
