what model do i get for a colder spark plug for a D16Z6 motor ?? i wanna go two steps colder because i cant retard the ignition off the distributor )( D16Z6 in EF hatch using non obd emissions) i need the part number/spark plug number so i can order from a regular shop . tahnks

BCPR7e's for LS;s

and then ciime up with ZFR7-11's ..

which 1 is it ?? anything diffrence betweeen teh BC and BK ?? or is it just the insulator or wahtever ?? tahnks need more info !!! thanks again

10000000% sure that the NGK BKR7E if the 2 step older plug for a d16z6, d16ya, b16a2, b18c. Its right for them all.

Go to Clubsi.com and look in the Nirtous Forum. If you ask this question there they will murder you. I think they have a sticky thread about the plugs!

Or the ZFR6J11. Depends on how much more horsepower you are making.

 

zfr6j11 is only one step colder than stock (what I'm running now). I've been unsuccessful in finding 2 step colder plugs. parts stores tell me the zfr7j11 does not exist...

 

running one step colder (ZFR6F-11) but i might be running ZFR7F-11 soon if i can find them.

 

i run bcpr7es aka 3330's in my z6

 

I'm using BKR7E in my Y8; same thing as Z6

 

I used both the BCPR7E-11 and BKPR7E-11's in my boosted Y8, both performed great but the BK seemed to foul alot quicker than the BC's.

 

Intresting comment. I put BKR and BCPR side by side on my desk, and they look identical except for the length of the part where the plug wires attatch. If you read NGK's part numbering system, BK and BCP are described as being the same thing (projected insulator and 5/8" hex).

And if you can find the stock ZFR plugs in colder ranges than stock, let us all in on the secret location where you buy them.
