Code 16???

Code 16???
ok so i have heard that code 16 usally means that the main relay is out because of the hot weather and cheap soldering of the dealer...but im just curios as to why is giving to me
heres the situation, so i have a 91 acura integra jdm b18b motor in it wit a turbo setup, im running it wit a vafc...now the first few weeks i had it it would turn on fine but recently its started doing this...my car would start but as soon as it was running i would get a check engine light which stay in limp mode and not rev higher than 3k, hence code 16 but my question is, is it the main relay still or is it something else...also i re wired my battery to the trunk if that matter
any opinions?
