Is that to close, or can i just rap some heat rap around and she'll be good. Or will i have ac problems

I would wrap it to be safe but i dont think the heat is gonna mess with it much.
Also i would look into getting that down pipe made with a stainless flange, usually its a bitch to get cast to stay together with stainless.. unless you are a very good welder

All my friends are welders and the have all the gas and crap to do it right. i just did that for now, and then i have to take it to my friend shop and hes going to do it better. i've had it welded together before but i couldnt use the a/c and it never came apart. But you know how that happens. ill sit here and say its fine and then it falls apart, knock on would. but i dont think it will.

I still have to do more motifications to the exhaust i just wanted to see if would of hurt my a/c compressor. Thanks for the input

Yeah it might hold it just depends on how much it flexxes when u are into the throttle. It may never break
