do these ever need cleaned. if so what is the best method to do this.

what about the diaphragm, do they ever go bad and need replaced or cleaned.

the only thing you would have to look for is sticky valve. The valve if run on Race GAS can cause problems if you didnt get the option for the upgraded valve. Most units come with the Std valve. Just inspect and calen the valve thats the main thing. The actual diaphram doesnt usually fail but it can be peierced if trying to remove the spring incorrectly or incorrect installation

it seems to work fine. but i have never taken it over 10psi. i just want to be sure it's good to go before i turn it up..

how do i check for a sticky valve. im assuming just move it and if it does not stick im good

just check for carbon buildup. You can use WD40 to clean them up.
