Default Cleaning FMIC

Hey,

I've been boosted for over 5 years on my 97 Civic and my intercooler is looking pretty nasty. I've polished the end tanks but the fins are pretty black. I was wondering if you guys had any tips on cleaning the fins. Would de-greaser damage them? Thanks.

remove the intercooler which would make it easier...

get some brake cleaner and spray the fins starting fro the front then at the back .. and wash it out from the back all the black stuff should come out..

oh ya nice ogin gon the 5 year boost

Thanks. My turbo kit is actually out of my car due to Test Only BS. So cleaning the intercooler should be easy.
