Hi, I had a question that confuses me about the greddy type 31 intercooler kit. I have a 1997 civic ex with the greddy turbo kit. Instead of my starion i am going to buy the greddy type 31. I was on their website and saw that there's 2 type 31 intercooler. Once for the 92-95 civic ex/si and the civic 99-00 si. I was wondering because my car is similiar to the 99-00 civics. Which one would bolt together with my greddy turbo kit i have on now? thanks in advance.....

 

I believe both will work. i know the 5G Type 31 will work for sure. I use the Si Type 31 on my 97 EX, and the piping had to be modified a lot. others in my situation said theirs bolted right up, so maybe GReddy supplied me with the wrong piping or something.

 

i have the one for the si and it works fine. I probably need to flare out a pipe on th turbo kit.
