Default civic half core into dc2

i am switching to a mishimoto 92-00 civic half core radiator to gain more room for the new turbo set up. but i've read somewhere that the upper radiator hose is smaller on a civic radiator? can anyone confirm this? thanks!

I have a Koyo 1/2 width radiator and I used the same upper and lower radiator hoses and both have a snug fit.

the necks are smaller on d series radiators. but if you buy a mishimoto it should be a b series size on it.

the mishimoto will work fine. im running mine with stock dc upper hose no problems. like stated above they come with the larger b series style not small like d series.

be sure to either use a shrouded fan like a stocker or fal or get a 14" zirgo fam that takes up almost 100% of the surface area. its going to need good air flow and fan to remove the heat. ive run all different size fans and with/without shroud and best results was with my zirgo beyond cool 14" fan

^^ or he could just get the Mishimoto Fan Shroud made for the 92-00 Civic radiator he is buying... That would probably be best IMO.

well it would work fine but a 12" fan doesnt flow as much cfm as a 14" fan so a 14" fan would work better but the 12 with a shroud will work
