chipping JDM P72???

Default chipping JDM P72???

anybody have a write up on how to chip a jdm p72?? i need to know if its the same as a US one, my ecu looks like its missing the 28 pin chip completely??

Pgmfi.org has a writeup.
Also check google.com :-)

A jdm ecu uses a surface mount 7hc chip which is not exactly simply to solder in without proper experience or tools.

ok what about the capacitors and resistors? are those the same numbers i.e. "J1" etc? are they evn needed on the jdm ecus as they are on the us?
