BOOST CONTROLLER? WHO THE HELL NEEDS ONE OF THOSE. IGNORANCE IS BLISS WHEN IT COMES TO BOOSTING!!!
WHO NEEDS A RADIO WHEN YOU CAN HEAR THE HUM OF YOUR EXAUST INSTEAD!!!
INVISIBLE BASS BOXES ARE THE ****!
I was walking up to my car and i thought, "OH DEAR ME, I LEFT MY WINDOW OPEN"
then the horror crept over me when i saw all the glass sitting next to my car!!!
this happend at school, that supposivly has a constant security watch. I got a police report.
I had to re wire my vaccume hoses on the spot because of the missing boost controller, but my engine threw a code and put me in limp home mode, i have no clue whats wrong with my wireing or anything, but my **** doesnt run for **** right now, I cant drive it, I think in the proccess of cutting out the boost controller they may have fried my ECU.... standalone ECU here I COME!
oh and their grubby darn knees put a dent in my door... im throwing in my hood dent for the repair bill. **** EM!
oh and get this, they had time to thumb through my CD's.
"no thats not good, nor that one... oh hey, look.. UTADA HIKARU"
THE ONLY CD I CARED ABOUT IN MY ******* CAR THEY TOOK..... IM SUPRISED THEY EVEN KNEW WHO SHE WAS... that CD was 30 bucks!!!!
oh wait ... im bitching about 30 bucks when 2000 dollars worth of **** got jacked.... YAY ME
oh and heres what gives me the blue ballz... my insurance doesnt cover a damn thing. apparently "FULL COVERAGE" isnt "FULL COVERAGE" you have to add things to your policy when you add **** to your car. YAY ******* ME!
As of right now, i am dead in the water, im going to check out the electrical tommorow.

AAA
they said they wont cover it because it wasnt what came with the vehicle stock. bunch of bullshit if you ask me.... you have to give them more money to protect those other items
also they told me that cd's and stuff that arent bolted/attached to the car would be covered under homeowners insurance
what the **** am i paying insurance for?

Re: check out my boost controller mod and stereo setup (DeeJay)
hmmm I have full coverage State Farm....and when my 2001 gsr got jacked, I only got $24,000. I had close to $10,000 dollars worth of parts on my car, and they only gave me an extra $1000 over the value of the car. Its all good though, I bought a 94 GSR for $9,000 and have lots of money to make my ride
But yea, I heard your supposed to tell insurance your modding your car for them to cover the parts.

I've heard of Utada Hikaru. Hehe. Man that sucks, same thing happened to me, except they pushed my car 1/2 mile away. Took all my CDS and left 1 behind.

Riverside Community. I felt safe there, no more. I'm taking the TERCEL to school from now on
also ive been looking for another layer of security, like making a custom detachable stick shift.

i am really sorry to hear that happened to you, i hate theives. One night me and my buddies went out to eat and i came back and my windows were all fogged up. It turned out i left my driver side window down. thank GOD no one stole anything, maybe this was bc it was parked right by a street that cops drive by about every minute plus being under a parking light. I could have been F'd, the greddy gauges were right there for the taking as well as the apexi avc-r and s-afc. good luck on your insurance and i hope everything is working electronically with your car. Insurance agents suck, i recommend raising hell, and parents always come out handy in case the car is in their name or anything like that. Be polite with them, if they are ********, then return the favor and be the worlds biggest ******* with them. good luck

Re: check out my boost controller mod and stereo setup (GudeH23a)
In my last car I had around $4,000 worth of stuff stolen. I got all the money back, however I had this stuff seperately covered by insurance, it was only like $60 a year to cover all my additional stereo equipment. After the theft they tried not paying for my 80some cd's that were stolen but after 2 weeks of arguing they finally gave in and paid me like $15 for each cd!! I"m so glad my stuff got jacked cause that money was for my down payment on my new ride!!

AAA they suck, they wont do jack for me, since they said they wouldnt cover my aftermaket stereo, i just said, "fine, it was a stock one then" then they said, "ok we'll cover you for that." WHAT THE ****? the stock one probobly costs more than my aftermarket one... whatever floats their boat.
They arent covering anything except for car damages and a stock radio... ive tried, but the aftermarket stuff just wasnt in the policy.

Re: check out my boost controller mod and stereo setup (boostedeg6)
Check with your lawyer, I belive their is some laws on mods that apply to all insurance companies. Like if you have all your recipts or something. Also, I plan on taking pictures of things I put on my car (turbo kit, with VIN # clearly visible) and stuff like that. I dunno, worth a try...
