im having trouble with my car only seeing 5 psi. hondata s200b with obd1 p72. no leaks anywhere. starting see the check engine light come on when cruising on highway at 60 or 3k. it does hiccup sometimes when i let off or slow down. check engine light comes on out of nowhere and stays lit until i turn off the car. after i start it up again it goes away. boost controller maybe? but it holds 5psi steady and no drop off.


any help appreciated. running 5psi weaksauce and horrible gas mileage sucks

 

if when idling it sounds like you have a set of mean *** cams, its probably your map sensor, either over gassed, in the rom range somewhere, or too much boost on the stock sensor, mine did this before the uberdata.......

what would be the solution to solving this problem? im willing to try anything at this point.

Yeah, WHAT code are you throwing, there are about 40 of them Pull the code, then try to figure out why your getting it. It probably isn't even a map code.
