check engine light
I am getting a check engine light, once a trip, on my way home from college. It is a two hour drive. It only does it if I go to pass some one not boosting at all and go a little over 75mph or so. I have check valves on my map sensor, because I cannot lean out far enough with my AFC because it is the first gen. +/- %30. If I pull over unplug it and plug it back in, probelm solved, and I drive the rest of the way home. It doesn't even throw the code under boost in 2nd or 3rd gear. Not really sure why this is happeneing any ideas? would the speed sensor code shut off after you turn the car off? Or is this definitley an issue with my map sensor since it is throwing it into limp mode. Car runs perfect other than this little flaw.

I have to run check valves on my afc setup if you would've read the first thread you would know why. I can't lean it out enough for it to not throw the check engine with just the afc becuase it is the very first style made. It runs awesome, so I don't think that is a problem. Bump anyway, just curious what might be going on, not really that big a deal, car runs fine, just wondering.
