Default charge pipes

can i use radiator hoses for charge pipes??

Dodge minivan people do it runnung 25+ PSI so it should be fine.

i think 1g???dsm turbo eclipses use hose for there pipes also..tough *** hose, but hose think about it..which is more likely too induce heat and heat the air inside of it..rubber, or stainless steel?

think about it..which is more likely too induce heat and heat the air inside of it..rubber, or stainless steel?
Stainless steel will heatsoak a hundred times worse than radiator hose

I run radiator hose on my own setup. I beleive most radiator hose is rated at a minimum of 30psi if i remember correctly, but i would imagine the larger hose would be rated for more. I never had a problem in almost a year, boosting 10psi. I used metal exhaust sections as couplers.

where did you get large diameter radiator hose anyhow??2.5 inch ID ....thnx just might do this instead of using pipes until i go with a big setup on a new motor

and yes i know steel will induce more heat..thats what i was pointing out, but i guess i misworded it or u misinterpreted it

yeah almost done with my junkyard setup and have no more money and time. dont they let you go behind the counter of like pep boys to see if you can find hoses?

I did this 5-6 years ago with my civic, go to truck or large trailer supplies shop and they have a large size radiator hoses, try to look for radiator braidied hose, a lil more reinforce than standar rubber radiator hoses...
