Default changing turbo on my d16 will it work?

I have an ebay 57/63 turbo and I'm changing it for a precision 6265 bb with .63 housing. I borrowed from a friend and want to know if it will work...

it will work as long as you have the right flange on your turbo...and what is your DP flange as well.

you may have a little difficulty with the compressor housing, as the one you have now is a T04S, instead of the T04E you had before. May require a bit of work to make it fit, but shouldn't be too bad depending upon manifold design. You'll need to change your outlet from the turbo to 2.5".

I was getting 15lbs from a 6262 .82a/r by ~5500 stg 4 PPorting head 3.6cam. I think it will be pretty laggy but will hit hard as hell once it finally does. What kind of head work do you have done? Cam?

Idk about you but that thing will be lazy as hell on a d16. Looks like a p trim ex. wheel.

Your question about if it will work is odd. It will work fine as far as a turbocharger goes, but it won't and isn't a good match for a d16.

my head has a stage 3 port&polish and has a custom crower cam...

I just want to test it since i borrowed from a friend... then i will test a 6262 from another friend to see what works better on my engine...

tomorrow I'll go for a trip to the dyno and see how it works, and if we get some decent numbers we will go on friday the 1/4mile... : )

went last night to the dyno to test the 6265 turbo and it worked nice but didn't get the numbers i wanted...
made 497whp & 361wtq @ 29psi with some issues, the clutch gave up and we couldn't get it to at least 35psi...
the 6265 turbo worked well but i think it needs a .82 a/r housing and a new bigger camshaft like de bisi 3.6 and a new clutch kit...

so my question was answered the 6265 turbo really works on a d16... and works nice...lol
