DSMTalk people are talking smack about how Turbo Honda's cannot run 13's or lower. No BSing in this thread, no highjacking, no OT. I am gonna send them to this link to prove my point. All I want are timeslips or links to videos of cars meeting the following requirements: Full interior, Pump Gas, Street Tires, Daily Driven.

Dude, they really don't know. They think because a GS-T with mods can't run 12's a Turbo Honda can't run 12's on street tires.

This is my 12.8, fastest is 12.7. Read the sig, all applies since it was the run right after the 12.7

A friend of mine is running 12.8 with slicks. 91 LS with 11.6 compression and pump gas. 12.8 was with 12 psi. We're going tonight to see where 15 psi will get him. He uses an Aquamist system with Zdyne.
Courtney Green, (I hope I spelled your name right Court) ran an 11.50 on street tires at around 128mph. He did this at 5200 ft elevation on drag radials in a civic hatch with full interior. My best is a 12.09@117 on slicks and he pulls away from me like I've never seen. It's pretty awesome to see! That's the fastest guy around here, (UT).

i have had both and im not so sure a honda for the $$$ is going to be as fast as a turbo DSM...i sometimes wish i still had my dsm and put the same kind of money THAT as the honda that i have...probably would be REAL fast...no flames please im just saying what i think...on the same note a fwd dsm is going to have the same problems as a honda...actually even worse because of how the power comes on...an awd and a fwd turbo honda is not even a race...my friend had a 95 talon that ran an 11.62 @ 118 on regular street tires...not radials not even falken azenis just regular tires...to me that is impressive but of course with any car like that the tranny is the weak spot...somethings gotta give...1

No doubt, any fast car is amazing. An awd dsm is nuts, they really don't have to worry much about launching hard, though, they do battle their own stupid things like we do. For them it is tran's, us it is fuel systems and tuning. No non 1500lbs civic will out launch an awd car when its on slicks and the dsm is on streets. Heck to throw this in, my friend launched his typhoon at WOT, full boost on the line. He went a 14.2 @ 95mph, with a 1.7 60ft. Mind you, this suv is completely stock to boot.

That seems hard to believe. 11.5 on drag radials at that elevation

Thanks for the props guys. When I ran this time the track was fully prepped and I was the first to on the track so I don't know if it counts as a fully legit run.

i saw a daily driven 92-95 hatchback (not full interior tho) pulling mid-high 12's with JUST a H22, 2.25" exhaust (no muffler) and some ghetto ram air on stock 185/65 Firsestone street tires
