Seals in the turbo. Mine does the exact same thing, I know the seals are bad. Yours may be a different case tho. Your boys turbo may have bad seals too you never know. Its not too uncommon.

What color is the smoke? Has your car been tuned?
Are you running aftermarket injectors or map sensor.

it works!!! a lot of times the ring grooves gunk up and wont let the ring expand and contract making the ring stick letting oil get by

Its a penetrating catalyst. Like WD-40. Its good for breaking up carbon, rust, etc. Its not going to do you much good unless your rings are stuck.

Wouldn't it take you less time to google "pb blaster" than type and respond on a forum?

make sure you don't have excess crankcase pressure, and that your oil return is not restricted or too small.

What could the problem be if it smokes on deacceleration n on hard acceleration? Mine does it on both??

Does it smoke on light acceleration? at part throttle and while cruising too? Could be many things i.e. turbo, rings, etc...

You might want to mention too much pb blaster, or any other liquid, can do more than fix your rings. It will hydrolock your motor...

ok, my car smokes at both decceleration n at hard acceleration. oil consumption is pretty bad depending on how hard you drive, if you say out of vtec you safe no smokes at all. i also read on a next forum that guys were using acetone and ATF 50/50 mix, so tried that over the pb blaster as it is more accessible to me, threw it in the cylinder and let it sit overnight. that was night before so yesterday evening i unplugged the distributor and cranked the motor to get out most of the solution. Then changed the oil and filter, car took about 5mins to actually start, left it to idle for like 30mins it was smoking ridiculously but not oil though, apparently i didnt get all the solution out, changed the plugs out too, car starts and idles fine n no smoke, took it for a drive and heavy smoking at acceleration but i cant tell if it's oil or d solution still.. .. havent drove it today yet, i'll let u guys kno if the consumption changes or not!

I had the same issue.. When a turbo goes bad, it doesn't smoke all the time.. It usually gradually gets worse and worse.. Mine was smoking at idle when I pulled to a light and then started doing it at deacceleration... Swapped in a def. turbo and fixed it.. Thicker oil in hot summer temps will help alittle but will only mask the issue.. Same thing with an oil restrictor... Good luck...

People always speak of a turbo "going bad"... but what I don't get, is how pushing oil past a METAL ring (like a piston ring) is a "bad" turbo... No one has ever been able to explain to me how you can ruin a turbo seal. Its a metal ring, much like a piston ring. Its not an o ring or something like I think most people assume. So, how do you destroy this seal to when one would condem the turbo?

Broken ring land will cause **** poor compression results. Thats a negative.
