Can a stock LS engine do this...
I was just wondering if a basically stock LS engine could take a 100 shot? Lets say that it has a blockguard and the fuel management to run this setup? I was thinking about doing a direct port 100 shot on my LS crx. If i was to do this..what should i do about fuel management? Does anybody make a complete direct port kit with everything needed? Thanks

I know a few guys that's run a 100 shot on their LS. BUT, then again...they're now on their second motors... LOL!
Do the basics...retard 3-5 degrees, colder plugs, run highest octane gasoline.
With a direct port, you'll have the fuel injected with the nitrous in the nozzles. Might want to run a better fuel pump. Otherwise, the kit should have everything included. Even a dry kit will increase your fuel pressure to accomodate the nitrous.
I would take it in steps at a time. Start at like 75. (50 is unnoticeable for some) Then increase it when you feel it necessary.

Here is one option to consider:
http://www.hondata.com/featuresnitrous.html
This way you retain daily drivability and get reliable power with nitrous (if your engine is capable of taking the power.
You would need an S100 ($250) + an OBD I computer
Bigger injectors
Tuning
A dry nitrous setup.
With a dry setup, you can set the nozzle back from the intake to maximise cooling of the intake charge.

Man...that is freaking awesome. So if i use the hondata i can arm the n20 via the A/C switch? Talking about a sleeper setup. So i shouldnt do DP with the dry setup? I sorta want to keep all this hidden so i didnt really want to put n20 line in the intake(maybe i can get some money from some ricers ). How much do you think ill be looking at TOTAL if i were to go with the hondata setup...kit included? BTW my car is obd1 so i wont have to switch that over. Im not very experienced with n20 but i do have good mechanical sense ad this hondata thing looks idiot proof. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
PS-What shot do you guys think will be safe if i have a blockquard and Hondata?

Umm.. yeah-- you dont have much experience with the juice..
If your trying to go "sleeper" your gonna have to do some MAJOR work to hide a direct port kit.. It is MORE obvious than a turbo system at a quick glance under the hood..
Buy a WET kit and cover all the lines with old black hoses if you want to keep it on the low.. But yeah-- Hondata- injectors- timing- tuning etc and you'll be good.. My assumption would be that if you actually ran a 75 shot-- you'd be happy with it..

Yea...im aware of all the work involved with hiding a DP kit. I just want to now if it could hold a 100 shot safely! I might not even run that high of a shot...i just want to know if it can handle it. I also want to know an aproximate cost for the whol setup. Thanks for he info man.
