Default cams for boost

I've been looking around the site and i've seen that most people use GSR cams on boosted motors. Are there any other cams that would be ideal for stock GSR head thats boosted

i had talked to a friend who had some for sale but he said that the GSR cams are better than type R's when it comes to boost

It will depend on how much boost and mainly how high you are reving your motor. I found that on my setup the itrs made more peak power above 8500 but the gsr were way better under the curve.

probably the best cam for you would be to change out the intake cam only put a ITR (integra type R) the exhaust cams are the same for the GSR and Type R but the intake has alittle bit more lift and is very good with a basic turbo set up. GSR's are also a good cam but with the type of person I am I like to have top end power and not alot in the low RPM's as this just causes you to lose traction right away.

I am going to do some experimenting. I have a set of Skunk2 Stage 2 cams from an old N/A build, and I'm in the process of putting together an 84MM LS/VTEC with a GT35R. I have an ITR head, some GSR cams, and the skunk2 cams. Once I get the motor done I plan to dyno test all 3 cams, get some real results
