Default Cam identification?

This has been back and fourth the past week and depending on where I look or who I talk to I get a different responce.

Anyhow, a friend sent me a set of cams he bought on Ebay which were said to be 95 GSR cams, however when I got them, I compared the markings vs the markings on another website for identifying Honda cams. Unless the website is wrong or possibly Honda used the same markings on 95 GSR's perhaps, the cams I got were not from a 95 GSR but rather from a 92-93 GSR (B17) which I understand used a profile very similar to a B16 of that era.

The markings look EXACTLY like this:

The intake cam has a K and the exhaust has an L on it at mid shaft if that makes any difference.

Also, I just looked at a thread where someone was selling almost brand new GSR cams and they had the exact same markings as mine and the ones pictured.

They look the same as these cams pictured for sale which the poster identifies as "2001 GSR Cams". If thats the case, these are the right cams...

Damn Jason I just bought a set of Type R cams local for $250 and did the same research and they were 92-93 B17A GSR cams, I took them to the machine shop and mic'ed them compared to my stock Si cams and the specs were the same, same 3 rings on the end there not on the very end but on the cam seal portion . I got my money back after threats!!!!!!

I would like to get this cleared up as well...

They are going to be hard to tell with a caliper, the only difference in lift is .2mm on the intake, but the GSR's have 9 more degrees of duration on both cams.

Damn that stinks... I didnt pay for these but a friend of mine did so I dont want him getting ripped off for something he got for my sake. At the same time, he also has another set of 95 GSR cams in his supercharged B16 that have the same end markings which he got from someone else awhile back. I'm thinking either the website these are posted on is wrong or Honda doesnt use a consistant marking on its cams. Then again, the several sets of B16 cams I have all match up.
