C02 into intercooler ???
C02 into intercooler to cool down air temperature; I heard about it somewhere, but never try it.. Anyone know if those gain any power and how you do it?
Was it to spray strait into the pipe that lead into the IM??
Thank for any opinion !!!

no they spray it through the vanes of the cooler to chill the core externally. it is not injectd into the intake air stream like alcohol, nitrous, additional injectors, etc...

nahh i dont think how to do that exactly..I think they spray it on front of the intercooler to get cold air to cool down air temperature.. It would be great if you can spray it into the pipe to IM .. Those crap are very cold, which again bad *** power ...

reread my post, I said they do NOT inject into the airstream...
they fog it externally through the core. anyways.

My fault..Wasn't read the bottom part of ur post..
SO what happen if you spray it into the pipe? Well was it like n20 then.. Just ask.. Maybe i try somewhere outside and see what happen to c02 with fire combine..

C02 is not like N2O, the oxygen molecule in C02 wont oxidize with gas like just plain O.
sraying into cylnders will actually lower oxygen content of the charge.
I wouldnt spray it on an intercooler either, some of the CO2 mut get injgested by the intake ad if anything the hp gains found are justfrom momentarily leaning the car out.
help me out any one with chemistry background agree.

co2 is a inert gas in combustion and has somewhat of a qwentching effect but I would think if the oxygen content of the intake charge is lower you would have a rich condition, not lean.
I have no chemistry background btw... someone correct me if I am off base.

man can't wait to install my nx ntercooler kit
roby here on ht can hook u guyz up. good seller. but the bottles so tiny. only 5lbs bottle.

it wont come in contact with the intake if u have a turbo intake like this
just my .02 cents

Do a search(google) on these kits, I have seen them around, they are not that expensive, it won't mess up anything, there is a company that will size it for your intercooler, you also get kits that cool the fuel, and another one that has an egg shape cooler that sits right in your intake that also cools the air... c02 and n20 will have the same benifits if used in this way, and with the small amount that you use it will have no bad effects on your intake, but it would help if you do some proper plumbing just to be safe.

spraying the outside of your fmic will help to lower temp, that is correct. i've never heard of anyone using co2 INSIDE the intake... i don't think that will offer much benefit.
i would think that it would have a similar effect to water injection, but i'm not going to say anything for sure.

would Nitrous intercooler worth the money of buying.. I mean that like $300+ dollars for the kit... How much gain could that affect on power..
I got a bottle of C02; the air temperature from that is very cold, I think it maybe help out low tempt also...
