Default A/C & PS Compatible Turbo Setup

I've searched honda-tech and I have found info but none of it is concrete. Basically as far as I've been able to tell basically the make it A/c & PS compatible is I need a compatible downpipe and manifold, is this correct?

If so what company makes a great downpipe and turbo manifold for this?

Are there A/c compatible ramhorn manifolds as well?

One more question I have is do I still need to get the halfcore radiator or should I be fine if I stay with my stock one?

Thanks if you can help me. Just looking for some concrete facts.

you do need a downpipe and manifold that are made for p.s and a.c.also might want to change the fans from pullers to pushers. their are alot of great companys that make these products just spend some more time looking what will fit your budget

Yes, they make them. I went with the Full-Race A/C compatible manifold. They sell a down pipe to go with it, but I ended up making my own because the one they sell hangs to low for me. Installing is always fun Everything is soo close together. As everyone else was saying, you're going to have to get pusher fans and flip them over to the front side of the radiator and condenser. Also the power steering bracket has to be cut down to fit with the manifold. I would really recommend wrapping the manifold and A/C lines with a fiberglass wrap. Before I wrapped mine the A/C was barely colder than the outside air, and I also burnt through one low pressure line and leaked A/C oil all over the motor. Even with everything still in the car it made just about 400 to the ground.
Here is a picture of what mine looks like with everything.

The other picture is my first turbo/AC/PS setup which was a log type manifold which didn't require cutting the PS bracket and also gave more room between the manifold and A/C lines.

The AFI and Full Race setups are very nice, cant go wrong with either. Minor trimming is usually involved with PS/AC manifolds, but its no big deal. And as mentioned, changing the fans is a good idea.

The cheapest A/C friendly manifold I found so far is the one made by Spoolin Performance, it's about $650 though. Anyone know of anything cheaper?

I used the log type bseries manifold, so I didn't have to cut any brackets, and bought the ebay drivers side exit 3" 5bolt downpipe (which I had to cut shorter and made fit next to the a/c) but it fits. Only thing is the downpipe hangs too low for my taste so I just raised the car, NYC streets are bad enough as it is so I'm doing myself a favor not being that low.

From the pics looks like you would have to change to half size rad. With the exception of the couple able to run full size.

I have a GO-AUTOWORKS street x kit in my coupe. Really great kit. Will post pics later but only problem had was major bending of the ac lines. Will post back once I get dyno numbers!

I emailed go-autoworks and Greg said he can make me a Ramhorn to be A/C and P/S compatable for $650 more than there cast log mani. So im gussing around $800? I'll let you know when I get a straight answer.
