Default A/C Line Relocation

I am interested in modifying my A/C lines so that I can move them away from the exhaust manifold. This is on an S2000 by the way. I chose this forum because the posters here tend to be more technically oriented, and well, I am moving it to make way for a turbo...

Anyways, there are two options that I see here, one is to use compression fittings to run new line, and the other is to cut the old line and weld in new lines which route the way I want them to.....

One concern that I have is that the pipe size is likely metric, so it will be hard to find the correct compression fitting to fit, and also it will be difficult to find new line which will match the existing line.

If anyone has any info/suggestions please let me know!!!

Thanks

Chris
