Default a.c./intercooler, '94 GSR

i have an a/c line that goes right in front of the radiator, where my intercooler needs to go. it looks like the line can be re-routed down the driverside of the radiator, along with the other lines, then down and under them, towards the passenger side, then back up where it needs to be. i see no reason for it to stick out 4" in front of the other lines.
has anyone else ran into this problem while installing an intercooler?? did you have the line re-routed? how much did it cost? what type of place did it?
i am NOT looking to lose my a/c. it gets way too hot for that here.
