I have this bullet tipped compressor. Majestic Turbo in Texas put it on and said it does something....but I forgot. This was a year ago and I am curious what this bugger is on my turbo. Any Ideas?
Also what is that white crud on my blades?

bullet smooths airflow. i doubt its a measurable difference.
white **** is from balancing. dont mess with it.

My best guess from fluid dynamics standpoint would be that the point would make the airflow coming in less turbulent, allowing the compressor to become slightly more efficient. The white stuff looks like water that dried on them and left mineral deposits.

Yea the tip is pretty damn sharp. I like to put my finger on it when spinning at idle for some odd reason. I love my turbo so much, even though the biotch got some side to side shaft play

It's supposed to have some play. Oil clearance.
