Default Built Prelude Finally Tuned!!!

After 2 years of trials tribulations, blown motors, blown turbos, rebuilds, heartache, sweat, tears, blood (ok, just cuts on my hand from pulling the head and motor but still), and emotional breakdown, I think she's finally solid as can be. Just got her tuned yesterday. Since it's been down for 2 years it's a little rough around the edges on the looks side, but she'll be getting her WWRS lip kit back on Sunday. Dying to put the stock hood back on, but just have to get some dents out of it (Do'H). Here she is about to get it on...

Here's what she threw down on 12-13 psi, which is relatively low for my build. It should easily break 400+ on pump gas (16-17psi) and hoping for 500+ on race fuel (22-24 psi if I ever have the cojones ). My tuner said that this is also a very conservative tune (timing is back at like 18.7X or something). I'm also still running PS and AC

I plan on turning up the boost after I put a restrictor in the oil feed line (oil pressure spikes at 80psi  ), vent the valve cover/crank case to catchcans, and get some **** diesel hose clamps. On this current tune, I hit full boost around 4ish and annihilate my poor tires almost all the way through 1st (from a roll) and pretty much anything after 5K in second. On the highway, it's a very unassuming low comfortable quiet hum, but when I get on it, it's like awaking a beast (keep in mind i'm used to 170whp and went straight to this). Drives great so far for my personal preferences, it's exactly what I wanted and more than I expected for the "low boost tune."

I'll have shots of the engine bay and full dyno sheet up in a bit. Here is what's under the hood (or at least what I can remember):

Turbo & Engine:

Shortblock:
H22A Shortblock (Closed Deck)

Precision 600 Intercooler
Tial 44 mm wastegate
Tial 55 mm blowoff valve
Custom tubular manifold and piping (CFT)
Skunk2 Intake Manifold w/ Hondata IM Gasket
Custom 3" Turbo Back Exhaust (Magnaflow, sounds great :bigthumb: stay tuned for sound/video clips)

Engine Management:

Innovate Wideband O2 Sensor
GReddy Profec Type-S Boost controller (Separate High and Low boost settings)
GM 3 Bar Map Sensor

GSport (Ghetto Sport? haha) Fuel Rail w/ Fuel Pressure Regulator

Drivetrain:

This is all thanks to the team down at Colletti Motorsports in Dayton, Ohio and Rick Williams (aka Tuned1) who tuned the car, Sean Ragains @ ERL Peformance for finally building me a solid block and CFT in Orlando, FL for putting together a great custom Precision turbo kit, and AF-P Dunc for all the advice along the way. Stay tuned for high boost pulls...

Main Shot

Tight fit... I'm going back to Florida so I gotta keep the AC hoses.

Ceramic Coating helps keep it cool down there. During tuning and street driving temps were very much as normal as can be. Yes that's a stock radiator.

Got rid of that horrible stock manifold design... But still running stock TB for now

Yep, still rockin' power steering...

Still gotta tuck and screw everything away neatly. I was too excited to drive it, I'll take care of that tomorrow.

I do remember now that they had to design it that way to fit under my ricer *** hood. Probably would have been an equal length otherwise. Probably upgrade later this year if I feel the need.
