how much power are you going for?

I wouldn't worry too much considering most ppl dont make it over 300 with jrsc's anyways,
so just concentrate on stuff that'll make power as opposed to bulletproofing the block(not that that cant hurt mind u)

well anytime I think about a high hp blown honda,
endyns sohc comes to mind..
made over 400 on a nonvtec sohc..

its blower was modded all to hell, with like carbon impellar blades, fully custom intake/intercooler setup, lots of custom stuff.

at the very least just make sure you get lht's intercooler kit, and run a medium ammount of compression.. maybe somewherea round 10-10.5
3" exhaust, proper header, do ur homework on ur cams, good portwork on your head, and as much tuning as you can get

heh, more than I can afford, so i'll live vicariously through you

Well... currently I have 193 too the wheels that is without LSD and flywheel for the tranny... no internals done to the head no block work done a crappy header and no supercharger.... I should be well over 300 don't you think....

upgrade the pistons and rods.....thats all you can to to make the bottom end stronger.

you want more power.......run more boost and have it tuned properly. i don't know what the power limits of a JRSC on a H23 but if you run 10-12psi you should be able to get over 300hp with the right tuning.

So that's basically what I should do to make the bottom end stronger

I was wondering... If did all that head work... cams, gear retainers springs and valves would my engine be able to handle all these new parts and the power that will be made from adding these parts... or will I have to upgrade pistons and build the block also???

yeah I wouldn't run over 11psi on a non-modded jrsc

go read the jrsc thread man, it's enormous but theres lots of good info in there.

I'll do that... but I was talkin about the head work... If I did that would the engine be able to hold all the new upgrades...
