Default buddy of mine needs some help..could this lead to apossible problem?

buddy of mine got a turbo....with an internal wastegate..the internal wastegate support bracket seems to have one of its holding bolts that went through a part of the copmressor housing...nothing serious..the housing has been taken off to inspect for debris and none was found..just a small hole in the compressor housing it self...will this pose any problems in the future? im thinking its the same thing as having a step-silicone coupler setup....just create a tiny bit of turbulence..but nothing severe..looking for some opinions

I don't understand. Did you take it out or did it break? Did you remove the wastegate actuator bracket? Are all the bolts still holding the compressor together?

I forsee problems. A bit of flex will ruin your compressor wheel. A hole is always bad.

one of the bolts on the support bracket went through a part of the compressor housing...about 40% through...it is slightly visible when looking into the compressor outlet...he called up the r & d and they said it wont be a problem but would be happy to replace it...so im assuming if they are gonna be happy to replace it...but are saying its not a problem...then its not going to be really?
