hmm thats wierd, i needed some of those bearings about 1 month ago when i did a rebuild and they werent in stock at acura..they said they were on back order... i didnt believe them b.c they seemed like such a main stream part. i hope they get them soon!

 

yep. Acura say they are backordered until the end of june so I still want them!

 

Dustin, I used to be very **** about bearing clearances, but after building so many motors with perfect clearance, I came to the conclusion that they were just ignorant pieces of metal and don't know the difference. If you went to a green half bearing it would only increase the clearance .0002 (or black to close it .0002) Most people, including me can't operate a mic to that precision.
I'm not trying to tell you how to build your motor, just giving you the other side of the coin
