Icon2 Braided line coolant systems

hey all,
im looking into building a braided line coolant system from the rad to block, block back to the rad and then the smaller coolant lines required ie turbo, overflow tank etc

what im looking for is the sizes you guys use for the rad hoses and where to get the fittings from?

lets see some pics of these braided setups so post them up people.

thanks guys

most setups are using -16 size fittings, which allows 1" hoses, a bit smaller than stock but will work fine. you could step up to -20 (1.25" hose) if you wanted.

check this thread for discussion on sizes and also some pics of -16 fittings welded to the engine side

as for the turbo you need -6 fittings, there are numerous examples/pre fabbed kits for doing a radiator setup for that.

just messing with all the braided lines and all the fittings being welded, and having cooling issues since the line is smaller. Daily driver I would say no. All out racecar.. go for it.

I use -16 bc -20 was too big to work with, hose ends and bend radius. -16 is a little smaller than stock but it gets the job done.
