Bov soft to hard adjustments?

Default Bov soft to hard adjustments?

how do you tune your bov? what does it mean from hard to soft? please explain.

What type of bov do you have? there is an adjustment screw on top which will dictate the stiffness of the bov. Hard and soft mean how much pressure it takes for the valve to open and vent the air... Soft= least amount

hMm, I wonder also... I gotta Greddy TypeS BOV> New... Maybe I should just start from stock settings, and adjust from there..

Trial and Error pretty much. Run your car, and if you notice its releasing to much pressure, then tighten it up a little. - Slowly to the right amount needed.

i have a hks ssq bov. i was also wondering how can i tell when my bov is a the right setting?

i dunno, i was messin with mine yesterday, and it does the same thing screwed all the way out as it does with only 1 thread showing(screwd almost all the way in)

Just hand tighten it till you can't tighten it anymore..then tighten it a SMALL amount with a wrench...Guys unless your are running crazy boost levels a tuned bov isn't going to affect your motor performance.

i have a ssqv and it was making an echoing sound (shuttering) which i thought was bad so i was tryin to figure it out
